New Methodologies of Human Machine Interaction for Gait Analysis and Neurological Movement Disorders

Innovative Human Machine Interaction paradigms can support physicians and in particular neurologists in several ways. In this lecture we will discuss our recent results achieved from an innovative protocol based on huge amount of data available thanks to an interdisciplinary study in a Gait Analysis Laboratory. Another experimental paradigm to assess the severity of some movement disorders will be presented and discussed in terms of our best classifier accuracy, specificity and sensitivity.
